Dear FIU Faculty and Staff,
The FIU Libraries welcome you and your students back to a new semester at FIU! We wish you a successful semester. Below are some of the many ways the FIU Libraries can help you in this new year.
• Did you know that for every subject area there is a liaison librarian that specializes in collection development and instruction?
• Did you know that the library subscribes to more than 1,100 databases?
• Did you know you and your students have free access to Mango Languages, a learning software with courses on dozens of languages that includes a mobile learning app?
In addition to these resources and services, the FIU Libraries offer so much more! Come to the Third Annual FIU Library Fair for Faculty & Staff to step up your research and teaching in 2017. It’s time to meet and greet (and eat) at the library!
Speak with your librarian and visit our information stations to learn about the library resources, services, and specialized tools designed to help you with your research, teaching, and tenure and promotion documents. We will have refreshments, door prizes, and plenty of witty conversation, of course, plus a chance to be entered into our raffle for a Grand Prize.
SAVE THE DATE: Thursday February 9th, 2017 from 11 am - 2 pm in GL 220.
Stay the entire time or stop in between classes!
RSVP today at go.fiu.edu/libraryfair.
We hope to see you soon!
